The problem
The estate was moving off an old WordPress site. The new one had to keep its search traffic, look like the estate, and send tour requests straight into the venue’s booking system.
Key decisions
- 01
Every indexed WordPress page, post and archive got a permanent redirect to its nearest new page, so search rankings carried over.
- 02
Tour requests come through an embedded Minaka form that sizes itself, trusts messages only from Minaka, and is the only outside frame the site’s security policy allows.
- 03
Components read only design tokens and all copy lives in one message file, so the rename from Longview Mansion to Longview Estate and a full brand swap were quick, isolated changes.
Outcome
Built solo in September 2026, replacing the old WordPress site at longviewmansion.com.
